Another sign that things are returning to normal. Not that there is anything normal about Foggy Noggin Brewing, but the brewery reopens its taproom this Saturday, June 12th after a 15-month hiatus. When I say not normal, rest assured that I mean it as a term of endearment.
About a decade ago, for an article in Seattle magazine, I described Foggy Noggin like this: “Give a man some beer and he’ll drink for an afternoon, but give him a homebrew kit and he’ll build a brewery in the backyard and turn the garage into a taproom.” Something like that anyway. It was my attempted play on the old adage about “give a man a fish…”
Foggy Noggin Brewing reopening feels very normal, not that there is anything normal about this very residential brewery. Cheers to you Foggy Noggin! So glad to see you on the other side!
Here’s the announcement from the brewery:
This month we will officially re-open our tasting room on Saturday – June 12th (12-5pm).
We plan to continue our Saturday tasting open dates and mix in a cask Friday release every once in awhile. It’s been a long 15 months being closed and only providing curbside pickup. We are sure everyone’s ready to visit us and have a pint on site, and we are excited to see everyone return.
All the CDC and State of Washington guidelines will be followed – non-vaccinated are highly encouraged to wear masks when not actively eating or drinking.
We will have 6 Fn beers on tap each week featuring authentic small-bath English inspired ales. We will be providing our customers 2 Washington Wine options by the glass and a cider. A few snack options will be made available and many local food options for take-out or delivery.
