Best of Craft Beer Awards. The list of WA and OR winners



Results are in from this year’s Best of Craft Beer Awards. Combined, Washington and Oregon breweries brought home 77 medals from the competition this year.

Washington and Oregon brought home the most hardware. Oregon won 49 medals. Washington won 28 medals. No other state was close. The judging takes place in Bend, so there is a certain home-field advantage. Over 2,500 beers were entered, so winning a medal is impressive regardless, especially in the most-entered categories (listed below).

As is always the case with this kind of competition, we only know which breweries and beers won. We do not know which breweries did or did not submit beer for judging. You can see the complete list of all winners here.

About the Best of Craft Beer Awards

During the weekend of March 31-April 2, professional brewers and judges from as far away as El Salvador descended upon Central Oregon to judge over 2,500 entries in the 2023 Best of Craft Beer Awards competition. Breweries of all sizes sent over 16,000 containers of their finest product for evaluation, entered into 59 categories and subcategories.

Judging took place during a 3-day, five-session period by over 100 of the most qualified international judges. They awarded 165 gold, silver, and bronze medals to 128 brewery locations around the world.
