Get your toes in the sand without visiting the beach. The folks at Pyramid Brewing are hosting a Coast Day Beach Party on July 13th and 14th at the Alehouse in Seattle that features a 1,000 square foot sandbox and more. The sandbox will be decked out with palm trees, beach umbrellas, kiddie pools, beach games, and a DJ. All that and it is free.
The event is named after Coast Day Hazy Lager, a summertime offering from Pyramid Brewing. Coast Day Lager is brewed with Nugget, Liberty, and Mount Hood hops. It is then dry-hopped with an experimental hop (Hopsteiner’s experimental #09326, for you hop geeks) along with Centennial hops. Coast Day is described as a “full-flavor, full-bodied beer that features tastes and aromas of citrus and berry.”
