Ales for ALS party at Bale Breaker Brewing this Saturday

Looking for something fun and meaningful to do this Saturday? Consider this. Once again, Bale Breaker Brewing is hosting its annual Ales for ALS fundraising party at its brewery and beer garden on Saturday, June 24th.

Ales for ALS is an all-ages day of fun, beer, music, and food on the brewery lawn. Proceeds benefit research to end ALS. For the Bale Breaker family, the cause is near and dear. Enjoy live music, multiple food vendors, fun for the whole family, and the release of Bale Breaker Brewing’s annual Ales for ALS beer, Bubba’s Brew. They’ll donate $1 from any pint sold at this event to ALS-TDI.

“Ales for ALS, a now international fundraising campaign, was started by us and our family hop farm right here in Yakima after our beloved uncle Scott “Bubba” Hanses was diagnosed with ALS,” said Bale Breaker Brewing on Instagram.

“Over the past ten years, breweries and beer fans from around the world have collectively raised more than $5 million for ALS TDI, a non-profit seeking treatments and a cure for ALS. While Bubba lost his courageous nine-year battle with ALS in March 2020, the program lives on for him and for all who have been affected by this disease.”

“We hope you’ll join us THIS SATURDAY 6/24 for the 10th anniversary of Ales for ALS! $1 from every pint and $5 from every t-shirt sold will be donated to the cause, and ALS TDI representatives will be here taking donations as well.”

Beyond this one event, Ales for ALS raises funds with participating breweries that use the Ales for ALS hop blend. Breweries interested can find out more here.
