Let’s Have a Party!

Introducing our directory of breweries, cideries, taprooms, and beer-focused bars around Seattle and across Washington that want to help you host your next private event.

Many of us have been there. We want or need to find a venue to host a private party. Not too expensive, maybe not fancy, but a place where we can host a birthday party, an engagement party, a celebration of life, a holiday party, a baby shower, or any other type of private event. We may need an event space that can accommodate a dozen people, or maybe 200. When the need arises, many of us get stuck. We need a resource.

Here in Washington, many of our breweries, cideries, and beer-focused bars have such spaces available. So, the Washington Beer Blog decided to put together a directory of event venues where you can host your next private event, whether it is your wife’s birthday party, your buddy’s retirement party, your sister’s baby shower, a company holiday party, or whatever. Of course, we focus on private event spaces in Seattle and the rest of Washington state only.

Stay focused

Our directory of private event venues is focused on Washington’s breweries, cideries, taprooms, and beer-focused bars. The Washington Beer Blog’s stated mission is to promote local craft beer and the breweries that make it. That’s the shortest version of our mission statement, but it explains why we are maintaining a focus on event venues at certain types of businesses.

We want to help breweries, cideries, and the bars that serve their products get hooked up with paying customers who want to fill their businesses. We offer free listing in this directory. It is not pay-to-play. Think of it as a public service.

Got a venue?

We have a form on the website that businesses can use to submit their venue for the directory. Please note, we post venues at our own discretion, and we are serious about focusing on breweries, cideries, taprooms, and beer-focused bars. And we are only talking about venues in Washington state.

We ask some basic questions, like the venue’s capacity, whether there are age restrictions, what kinds of beverage and food options are available, and so on. If you are the correct type of business and have a suitable private event space, we encourage you to submit it to our directory.
