Yakima Fresh Hop Ale Festival – calling all artists

It’s harvest time in the Yakima Valley and the smell of hops is in the air. That means it’s fresh hop beer season, one of my favorites times of the beer year. It also means it’s time to secure your tickets for the annual Yakima Fresh Hop Ale Festival, the most-esteemed fresh hop beer festival of them all.

People sometimes ask me about my favorite beer festivals. This one is near the top of the list, not just because of the beer but because of the atmosphere. Literally, at this event, hops are in the air in Yakima.

I could prattle on and on about how much I love this beer festival, but the organizers really don’t need me to. You can read my previous story to learn more about the festival itself and why it is one of my favorites. It will sell out and you should secure ticket ASAP. This year’s event takes place on on Saturday, October 1st.
