Watts Brewing event at Route 2 Taproom in Monroe

At least one taproom is ready to start hosting events again, within bounds, of course.

I cannot really remember the last time I announced an event like the one happening tomorrow at Route 2 Taproom. Probably been close to a year, for obvious reasons. In fact, our events calendar has basically been mothballed since last March.

But wait… On Tuesday, January 19th, Route 2 Taproom in Monroe welcomes Watts Brewing Company for a brewers night event.

One thing we’ve learned from the pandemic is that humans are resilient. Humans are, more or less, waterproof. When properly outfitted, humans can endure a certain level of cold. Route 2 offers a large outdoor seating area, which is why this brewers night event with Watts Brewing is possible.

According to the taproom’s social media posts, “We are currently booking Brewers Nights for spring! Of you are a local PNW brewery interested in hosting an event with us please email stephanie@roadtriptaprooms.com to schedule!!”

From Watts Brewing:

“Remember way back when we could have beer events?  Beer fests, brewer’s nights, beer dinners … Ah, those were the days.  Well on Tuesday we’re doing a bit of a throwback to the good old days: we’re doing a brewer’s night at Route 2 Taproom in Monroe!”

“It will be an outdoor, socially distanced brewer’s night, but hey we’re out of the house and drinking beer.  Route 2 Taproom has a big outdoor area with nice little tents for your table to help stay warm, dry, and from accidentally trying to interact with your neighbors.  We’ll be there from 6 to 8 pm on 1/19, pouring The Leafcutter, Mud Dauber, and Apian IPA III.”
