Attention brewers: time to make plans for the WA Craft Beer Summit
The Washington Brewers Guild just announced that Brian Canlis will serve as the keynote speaker at the upcoming Washington Craft Beer Summit (November 4th and 5th). The restaurant bearing Canlis’ name earned national recognition for the way it pivoted, adapted, and changed in the face of the potentially fatal turmoil caused by the pandemic.
As the keynote speaker at the Washington Craft Beer Summit, he’ll share some of his experiences and ideas with the audience. Not just how the restaurant survived the pandemic by exploring almost 20 different business models, but how his family’s restaurant has thrived and stayed relevant for over 70 years.
Since 1950, Seattle’s Canlis restaurant has dazzled diners as one of the city’s premier, fine dining destinations. Nobody would have predicted that a legendary, well-established business like Canlis could pirouette its way through the pandemic with such success. It will be interesting and educational to hear Brian’s message.
