Up the Bridges! debuts this Saturday at Reuben’s Brews

New beer release this Saturday at the Reuben’s Brews taproom in Ballard

We have now made it to number five. This is the fifth release in the ongoing series of 10th Anniversary Collaboration beers from Reuben’s Brews (read about the series). Up the Bridges! is an American Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with, and to celebrate the introduction of, Ballard FC, a new USL2 soccer team (read about that here).

Up the Bridges! Pale Ale hits the mean streets of Ballard on Saturday, April 30th when the brewery releases it in 16-ounce cans as well as on draft. The crew from Reuben’s Brews team will gather at the taproom to hoist a pint and raise a special toast at 3:00.

The brewery says, “This American Pale Ale features brand-new and tried-and-true hops including HBC 1019 and Cashmere alongside Michigan Chinook and Cascade. Crisp, clean, and hoppy, it’s the perfect beer to enjoy at the kickoff of a new soccer season.”

“A reference to the iconic Ballard Bridge located a few blocks from our Taproom, Up The Bridges! is the battle-cry of the new team. As the title sponsor for the inaugural season of our neighborhood’s first-ever USL2 soccer team, we’re proud to continue supporting our community and provide a gathering spot for fans to cheer on our football club.”

If you can’t attend the event, look for Up the Bridges! Pale Ale at Ballard FC home games and ask for it at your favorite bar or beer retailer.
