Two beer releases from Black Raven Brewing

News today of two beer releases from Black Raven Brewing, just in time for the summer. First up, the ever-popular Beaktweaker Citrus IPA, another beer in the company’s Blackfeather Series. Also, another summery offering from Black Raven, Hochzeit Pilsner. Here is more information about both releases.

Beaktweaker Citrus IPA Returns for the Summer!

Redmond, WA- Summer is nearly here and that means that its time for the return of our legendary Beaktweaker Citrus IPA. Nothing will beak your tweak like a tweaked beak… or maybe it’s the other way around. Grammar is not important here, it’s the beer that’s important. With notes of citrus peel balanced with a flockful of hops, Beaktweaker is a ray of summer sunshine!

About the beer:
Built on a firm base of barley and rye malts, the BeakTweaker features bold citrus flavors and aromatics. A firm bitterness combines with citrus hop characteristics accented by the addition of black lemon, orange peel and lemon peel. Featuring 2-Row Barley and Rye Malts with Nugget, Citra, Sorachi Ace, Simcoe, and Centennial hops. ABV: 6.5% IBU: 77

Beaktweaker is the summer release in our Blackfeather Series which includes Kitty Kat Blues Pale Ale, Flock Party Anniversary Pale, and Festivus Holiday Pale Ale. Stop by the Black Raven Brewing Taproom in Redmond, WA on Saturday, June 18th starting at Noon and be the first to hoist a pint of Beaktweaker Citrus IPA. Pickup a 22oz bottle or a Growler to enjoy over the weekend. Available June 18th through October at select retailers across Washington and Alaska.

The Hochzeit Pilsner is Black Raven’s summer seasonal lager. Brewed each year in limited quantity, this clean and crisp lager is the perfect summer treat. Brewed with traditional Czech grown and malted barley for an authentic European malt flavor. Domestic and European hops provide a balanced hop bitterness and flavor.
