Three new sour beers from Lucky Envelope – This Saturday

Apple Strudel Sour, Guava Barrel-Aged Sour, and this Peach Pie Sour

This Saturday, October 16th, Lucky Envelope Brewing releases three new sour beers at its taproom in Seattle’s Ballard Brewery District. Here is the announcement from the brewery:

Saturday is Sour Beer Day at the Tasting Room and our Brewers have baked up three limited releases including an Apple Strudel Sour, a Guava Barrel-Aged Sour, and this Peach Pie Sour! The Peach Pie Sour will be available in cans as well as on draft but the other two will be draft-only. Panda Dim Sum will be on-site from 3pm-9pm.

Peach Pie Sour (6% ABV)
Our brewers tinkered with granny’s peach pie recipe to create the latest Lucky Envelope seasonal sour brewed with over 30lbs per barrel of peaches, lemon zest, a touch of cinnamon, and real vanilla. The golden sour base was brewed with victory, Vienna, and wheat malts for a toasted biscuit undertone while an addition of lactose gives this sour a perfect blend of rich creaminess.
