Three new beers from one of Seattle’s newest breweries: Floating Bridge Brewing

Not long ago, Floating Bridge Brewing Company (722 NE 45th St, Seattle; map) opened in Seattle’s University District. I paid them a visit shortly after they opened (read about it here). The folks at Floating Bridge want me to share some news with you about some new beers. Here it is, in their own words.

“Floating Bridge Brewing brings 3 new brews to their taps: the relatively new University District tasting room has added a Desert Blonde Ale, a Chai Pale Ale, and a Dry Stout.”

“The Desert Blonde was brewed with 10 pounds of jalapenos picked up from the local farmers market, and has a hint of mesquite smoked malts.  There’s a good amount of pepper flavor, but not a lot of heat.”

“The Chai Pale Ale is an oatmeal pale brewed with lactose, ginger, clove, cardamom, black pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon.  It’s served on nitro.”

“Rounding out the line-up is a classic dry stout, also served on nitro.”
