Sumerian Brewing is about to celebrate its 2nd anniversary. On April 8th the brewery hosts a party from 4:00 – 9:00 that will feature live music, air hockey, corn hole, beer pong, ping pong, 1/6 barrel keg bowling, a cigar tent, and food trucks. Along with that, some special release beers, like Sauvignon Blanc Pilsner, Mexican Lager, Frambra, Habanero Stout, Extra Hoppy Double IPA, and Citrus Holy Water. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for more info.

The food truck on site that day will be Peach & the Pig. Games will include cornhole and “1/6 barrel bowling,” which sounds like a hoot. Most importantly for beer lovers, the lineup of special beers from Sumerian Brewing will include:

  • Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Aged Pilsner
  • Mexican Lager (from the brew-off)
  • Fram-Bra
  • Habanero Stout
  • Extra Hoppy Double IPA
  • Citrus-y Holy Water Citra IPA

But that’s not the only news coming out of the Woodinville brewery. Coinciding with the anniversary, in March and April Sumerian Brewing will begin releasing its beer in cans. Hopruption Double IPA gets the honor of being the first canned beer to market. This is the beer formerly known as Eruption. Next, they’ll release Holy Water Citra IPA, followed by Lucidity Pilsner and Narcissism IPA.
