Sky Hag IPA in a can and that ain’t all

One of the region’s favorite IPAs finally found its way into an aluminum can. Airways Brewing of Kent, Washington just announced that Sky Hag IPA is now available in 4-packs of 16-oz cans. She’s no spring chicken, this occasional-release IPA has been around for quite some time, but she still tastes great.

The vitriolic character depicted on the label, a product of too many years working in the unfriendly skies, is a sour personality familiar to many frequent fliers. There’s nothing sour about the beer, however. Bitter? Yes, she’s bitter.

Also, for those of you teetering on the brink of abandoning your new year’s resolution, Airways announced that Resolution Breaker IPA is also available in cans.

Here’s the release information straight from the brewery:

Sky Hag IPA: She’s retired to Paris, so you don’t see her around much anymore. But the beer lives on and, for the first time ever, we’ve put it into cans. Is this a one-time thing? Or, will be bring it back in the future? Honestly, we’re not sure. So, get them while you can (see what we did there). 7.8% ABV

Resolution Breaker IPA: Less than a week to go until February. Will you make it, or is this what will tempt you to break it? If there was ever a January to do it, this surely has to be it. Brewed with a delicious blend of uber-fruity Citra and El Dorado hops, then dry hopped with copious amounts of the same. Smooth, juicy, delicious. 6.5% ABV.
