Single Hill Brewing celebrating its 3rd anniversary this week

Nobody is asking, but if they did, I tell them that one of the fastest rising stars on the PNW beer scene is Single Hill Brewing. I’ve tasted a lot of their beer lately, I’ve visited the brewery lately, and it kind of seems like they can do nothing wrong right now.

I’m a bit late sharing this info, but maybe you are looking for something to do this weekend. Single Hill Brewing is celebrating its third anniversary this week at the brewery and taproom in Yakima. Should you choose to make the trip, be sure to leave room in the trunk for some beer. You are going to find some stuff you like and you’ll want to bring it home.

“Three years ago we set out to make a meaningful contribution to our community and brew stellar beer we’re proud to share,” said a statement on social media. “We’re on a good path and your support has made it happen. Thank you! “

“To celebrate, we brought back a special batch of our original sour, Hitched. This Anniversary Edition is fermented with whole Montmorency cherries from Rowley and Hawkins Fruit Farms. In a way, Hitched started it all. Zach brewed this beer for his wedding and again for Ty’s before Single Hill even opened its doors. Four kids and a brewery later, here we are!”

The Anniversary Beer is described like this: “Out of our cellar and into your glass, we’re celebrating the first day of our Anniversary Week with Osa Major Reserve 2020.This barrel-aged imperial stout hibernated in Westland American American Single Malt Whiskey Barrels before its original release. The dark cocoa, vanilla, and roast notes have matured beautifully in the cellar to a decadent dark chocolate flavor. Available on tap and in bottles!”

Beer releases all week! Here is the complete rundown of what Single Hill Brewing did, and is still doing, for its anniversary week.
