We have done posts in the past about Washington Wild and the Brewshed Alliance. It’s pretty simple, really. To make good beer you need to have good water. Luckily, because of organizations like Washington Wild, we have great water in Washington. For drinking and for brewing. The Brewshed Alliance program is all about using beer to help sustain and protect our water sources.
For the Seattle Beer Week Brewshed Alliance Pub Crawl, on Thursday, May 15, all you need to do is go drink some beers in Ballard and you’ll be supporting this worthy and important cause. Below, details from the event organizers.

The statewide conservation organization Washington Wild is hosting a pub crawl in Ballard during Seattle Beer Week with its Brewshed® Alliance brewery partners, Peddler Brewing, Northwest Peaks Brewing and Reubens Brews. All proceeds from tickets go toward Washington Wild’s mission to protect and restore wild lands and waters in Washington State through advocacy, education and civic engagement.

The Washington Brewshed® Alliance is an outreach initiative of Washington Wild that helps people make the connection that good water makes even better beer. Washington Wild works with local breweries to educate the public on this connection so that we can build support for wilderness and river conservation measures that protect sources of clean water that lead to even better beer. Join the Brewshed® Pub Crawl to keep Washington wild, green, and full of great beer!
