This year, the official SBW beer is described as a hoppy pale ale. “We kept the ABV moderate and the hop additions bright for a beer that will fuel the party all week long. Mosaic, Citra, HBC 586 and Simcoe pack aromas and flavor of citrus, berry and mango.”

Cask-O-Rama at the Bev. Circa 2013.

Seattle Cask-O-Rama at Beveridge Place Pub. Starting at 5:00, they’ll serve a selection of Seattle-brewed beers straight from the firkins, the way God intended. They’ll line eight casks up on the bar top and offer the beers in taster flights or in full pours. The experience is very Seattle and the Bev has been doing it for a long time.
