Mark the date! On Saturday, August 13th Seattle’s Rooftop Brewing celebrates its 10th year on the roof. Here’s what they have planned for the return of the annual Block Party.
Rooftop Brewing will expand the tasting room into the parking lot next door thanks to their gracious neighbors, Greenhome Solutions. Some local favorite food trucks will supply the food: Cascadia Pizza, Theo’s Gyros, and Peco’s Pit BBQ. Live music all day, provided by bands from School of Rock, as well as music from local singer-songwriter Kate Dinsmore.
Rooftop Brewing is also partnering with DogGone Seattle, a local pet rescue organization that will bring some canine companions looking for their forever homes. Adoptable dogs will be there from 2:00 – 5:00.
Two raffles. One raffle will interest the dog lovers in the crowd. The other raffle is a Ballard-brewery-themed raffle. You’ll have chances to win tours, tastings, and swag.

This is an all-ages event with activities for kids. They’re also bringing back the dunk tank.
And finally, Rooftop Brewing is releasing a new beer to commemorate the anniversary: Lager X. It will be available on tap or in 16-ounce cans. It is described as a hoppy lager that blends the aromatics of an American IPA with the crisp finish of a classic lager. Available in limited supply so come early to get your share of the beer, along with free limited-edition swag for the first 25 case purchases.
