Reuben’s Brews introduces a new tasting room – the Barrel House

A new place to get a taste of Reuben’s Brews

Just a few steps from the popular Reuben’s Brews Taproom in Ballard, the Barrel House offers a new space for enjoying the brewery’s award-winning beers.

This new space offers beer drinkers a slightly different kind of atmosphere. Located in the brewery’s wild- and sour-ale facility, the Barrel House offers bottle-pours and cans of beer. I imagine this will allow visitors to become more familiar with the brewery’s increasingly popular barrel program, but also allow for less adventurous beer options.

What’s more, the Barrel House offers reservations, as well as walk-ups. You can reserve a table up to 30 days in advance. All this in a beautiful, barrel-filled space just steps away from the familiarity of the beloved Taproom at the corner of 14th and 51st in Ballard. (The Brew Tap remains closed and we hope to have more info about a reopening soon.)

Here’s the official announcement from the brewery.

Have a beer surrounded by dozens of barrels of sour and wild beers in the aging process! Open Thursday – Sunday 3pm – 9pm.

We are pleased to unveil Reuben’s Brews’ newest tasting room experience: our BARREL HOUSE. Located at 1133 51st St., just a few doors up the block from our Taproom on 14th Avenue, the Barrel House is located in our wild and sour ale facility and offers a unique venue to enjoy a breadth of our award-winning beers.

The Barrel House will offer a selection of our beers to enjoy straight from the can or from bottle pours from our cellar of barrel-aged and wild beers. Also unique to the Barrel House is the ability to make reservations for a table, up to 30 days in advance.

Reservations will be for a 90-minute time window for a group of up to 6 guests, though reservations for smaller groups are also encouraged. Book your table on Tock, where we also have more information about reservations, or on the Visit Us page of ReubensBrews.com.

There will also be walk-up tables available at the Barrel House, so if you’re in the neighborhood and don’t have a reservation, drop by to see if we have a table available!

The Taproom is staying the same and will remain walk-up only, with a waiting list system in place. Our Brewtap location also remains closed due to pandemic restrictions, but stay tuned for updates on what’s happening in that space in the coming weeks!
