Reuben’s Brews 3rd anniversary – Saturday, August 15

It was August 5th 2012, opening day at Reuben’s Brews (pictured at right). Time machine: see our report from that day. I remember it seemed a bit odd that a brewery would schedule it’s grand opening on Seafair Sunday, but that’s what they did, brashly announcing their existence as the Blue Angels roared overhead.

In three short years Reuben’s Brews has grown to become one Seattle’s beloved breweries and recently completed a move to a new, bigger facility down the street. You are invited to join Reuben’s Brews for an anniversary party at the taproom in Ballard on Saturday, August 15th.

Here’s the word straight from the brewery:

It seems like it was just Aug. 5, 2012. But here we are, three years later in our beautiful new taproom and expanded brewery!

Join us on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the taproom for our anniversary party! We’ll debut our anniversary beer, “Three Years Gose Fast!” on tap and in a limited number of bottles available. The second brew in our sour series, our Gose is a tart, refreshing, lemony brew with just a little salinity to balance. It’s brewed with Lactobacillus, coriander, and Fleur de Sel. We think you’ll like it!

Furthermore, the first 200 people to have a pint will receive their beer in a free commemorative to go glass (limit one per person)! We’ll also have some special beers from the cellar, a raffle for charity, and more!
