Seattle Proper at Naked City. The best in barrel-aged beers and other oddities, all brewed right here within city limits.

Back in Black Stout Fest at Brouwer’s Café. An impressive selection of the best of the biggest brews.
Nanobrewery Night at Naked City. An array of beers (and brewers) from Washington’s smallest breweries. Always a big hit.
Saturday, May 9
Rob & Erik’s Brews & Bluegrass Festival – Hale’s Paladium hosts this annual event. Great beers and some of the area’s best bluegrass musicians. It’s a real hootenanny. (See our post about it)
Island Luau at Watershed. Featuring beer from nearby islands, a luau-style enterainment – uke music, hula, fire dancers…
Sunday, May 10
Iron Brewer Triple Header Throwdown. This time around, it’s a throwback throwdown. (See our post about it.)
Pike Brewing – Women in Beer. A great celebration of women in the beer industry, featuring more than just beer – artisan foods and such. This is a good one!
Monday, May 11
This is Washington Dammit! Enjoy 36 different Washington-brewed beers from 36 different Washington breweries. At the Beveridge Place Pub. (See our post about it.)

Beer Pairing Dinner at Elliott Bay Lake City. Join Elliott Bay Brewing at the Lake City Public House for a special pairing dinner. Compared to many SBW beer dinners, this one’s a bargain. (See our post about it.)

Firkin-Firkin Throwdown at Elysian Capitol Hill. City versus State. The breweries of Seattle put up their best cask-conditioned firkins against the rest of the state. Seventeen firkins in all.
Sourfest at Brouwer’s Café. Love sour beer? This event is for you. BYOP (Bring Your Own Prilosec).
Bob’s Brown Release party at Nickerson Street Saloon. Join Georgetown Brewing for the annual release of Seattle’s most-philanthropic brew. Beer Week or not, this is a great event for a great cause. It will be released at other locations too, but 3:00 at the Nickerson is the big rumpus.
Holy Mountain Brewing Beer Dinner at the Brave Horse Tavern. Really, do I need to say more? Tom Douglas’ crew at the Brave Horse does fantastic beer dinners and Holy Mountain is, well, you know.
Friday, May 15
Melvin at the Pine Box. The best brewery you’ve never heard of. The best brewery in Wyoming. Melvin. That’s all. They’re bringing a hearse-full of beer.
