“Hard to imagine that we have been working on this place for almost exactly a year now,” said the announcement on social media from The Outskirts Brewing Co. “We are beyond excited to announce that we will be open for business on Monday, May 15th. Can’t wait to see you all down here!”
Outskirts Brewing is located in Selah, Washington, just a few minutes north of Yakima. More than a brewery, it will also offer a full restaurant, cocktails, large outdoor spaces, and entertainment. The property is impressive from what I’ve seen on Instagram. I cannot wait to see it in person and sample some beers. (All images from IG.)
Like most other breweries in the Greater Yakima Area, the owners of this one have ties to the hop industry. Expect Outskirts Brewing to offer some hop-forward stuff like pale ales, IPAs, and hop-laden lagers, but also some seasonal, whimsical creations.
