About Optimism Brewery

Optimism is a brewery founded by a husband and wife who live on Capitol Hill. The interest in brewing began as a homebrewer 25 years ago, just out of college and he dreamed of building his own brewery. The company was formed in 2013 and the hunt for the perfect location began. It took more than a year to get a location and nearly 2 more years for the construction, but the brewery finally open its doors on December 5, 2015. Optimism is a brewery with a tasting room, not a brewpub, solely focused on making beer. Learn more at www.optimismbrewing.com.
