It’s not a winter beer festival at the 192 Brewing Lake Trail Taproom this weekend

“We can’t have a Beer Festival right now, but we can serve you samples of your soon to be favorite Washington Winter Beers for 2020!” said the announcement from 192 Brewing.

There are so many things that so many people are missing these days because of you know what. For beer lovers, beer festivals are up there at the top of the list. Large, crowded rooms packed full of people slurping and sharing beer samples as they yell in each other’s unmasked faces. Seems otherworldly right now. Dangerous. Forbidden.

The message on Facebook was clear: this is not a beer festival. However, this is about the closest thing we can do right now. 192 Brewing’s Lake Trail Taproom is hosting a tasting event this weekend. It’s part of the Washington Pint Day celebration I told you about in a previous post.

For the tasting experience, you will receive four-ounce samples of seven different Washington-brewed winter beers. Along with that, you’ll receive one of the official Washington Pint Day glasses, featuring the Discover Washington Beer artwork.

The entry fee is $18, which includes the beer and pint glass. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Washington Brewers Guild. Tickets are available at the door.

This non-event happens on Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th at 192 Brewing’s Lake Trail Taproom in Kenmore. From 1:00 – 5:00 each day.
