The holiday season kicks off this Saturday, November 18th at Lucky Envelope Brewing in Seattle, where the brewery will mark to occasion with the release of four seasonal favorites. Doors open at noon and the Tacos el Güero food truck will be on-site from 4:00 – 7:00.
The release list includes two IPAs, a sour, and a stout. In true Lucky Envelope fashion, the beers explore uncommon flavors and make use of some interesting ingredients. Like gingerbread spice, goji berries, and Buddha’s Hand Citron.
Here is the beer list along with the brewery’s description of each.
Nelson American IPA
(6.4% ABV) Brewer Peter’s at it again with his contemporary American IPA recipe highlighting Nelson Sauvin hops with backup from El Dorado and Citra. Pilsner, Vienna, and a kiss of c15 deliver a clean malt flavor with a balanced body. Available on draft and in cans.
Goji Pomegranate Sour Ale
(5.7% ABV) Superfood beer? Sure! We whipped up a special batch of our blonde kettle sour with antioxidant-rich goji berries and pomegranate puree to make a tart and rich beer with notes of dried cranberry and red fruit. Available on draft and in cans.
Buddha’s Hand IPA
(6.4% ABV) Available for a limited window in late fall, zest from this uniquely shaped fruit is brewed into this seasonal West Coast IPA. Buddha’s Hand Citron imparts botanical notes and intense flavors reminiscent of fresh-cut lemon and crushed lemon candies. Available on draft and in cans.
Gingerbread Cream Stout
(6% ABV) Forget cookies. Santa will want a pint of this sweet, spice-filled Gingerbread Cream Stout on Christmas Eve. Our rich, roasty cream stout base was brewed with gingerbread spice, vanilla, lactose, and blackstrap molasses to create this quintessential holiday treat. Allergen Warning: Contains Lactose. Available on draft and in cans.
