Field to Ferment Simcoe/Centennial represents an intimate collaboration between the brewery and our local hop farmers. We share our passion for the fleeting joy of these once-a-year fresh hop beers, which are one of the most unique offerings of Northwest craft beer. Our intention is to brew the freshest fresh hop beer with a distinct, juicy, and refreshing flavor profile.

When you drink Field to Ferment, you are supporting local. This fresh hop beer celebrates our farmers, and we are overjoyed to share this tasteful experience with you!

Strata Fresh Hop Pale. On tap now!! We’re pretty stoked with how this beer turned out. This classic pale is all about Strata hops fresh from @royfarms_hops. It’s full of fresh fruity aromas with a fresh citrusy finish. It seriously is so fresh and so clean. Get it while it’s fresh! Too much fresh?

Black Raven Brewing – September 16th

Fresh Hop IPA
West Coast IPA with fresh Strata & Bravo hops

16oz cans and draft available starting Friday, September 17th.
True fresh hop beers can only be brewed during hop harvest time – which is late summer, for us here in Washington. These wet Strata hops and kiln-dried Bravo hops were freshly picked at Roy Farms in Moxee, Washington within 24 hours of brewing this beer. This imparts a very sharp, fresh flavor and bold aromatics. We hope you enjoy this annual hoppy ale as much as we do.
ABV: 6.0%
IBU: 45ish

Future Primitive Brewing – September 16th

Our first wet hop of the season just rolled off the canning line. Centennials for Millennials IPA will be available on draft and in cans today at 3pm in the taproom.

Holy Mountain Brewing – September 16th

We’ve got a killer combo for you today, including our 2nd FRESH HOP IPA of the season, along with a brand new Hoppy Pils!!

CONE & CONE is a Fresh Hop IPA incorporating freshly picked Citra and Loral from Carpenter Ranches. It was brewed simply with Pilsner malt, Two Row, and malted oats, allowing the hops to shine front and center. Available in our Online Store and in the Taproom (no direct shipping available)

COUNTRY DEATH SONG is a Hoppy Pilsner brewed with Pils malt and Chit malt. It was hopped with Spalt Select, Styrian Golding, and Strisselspalt, and then dry-hopped at the end of fermentation with Tettnang, Nelson Sauvin, and more Strisselspalt. This one had a nice, long, cold conditioning time, and we left it unfiltered to enjoy in its natural state. Available in our Online Store, in the Taproom, and for direct shipping in WA State.

Both beers will be on tap when we open at 12noon. We also have Country Death Song t-shirts available in the Taproom and our Online Store for nationwide shipping.

Stemma Brewing – September 17th

You guessed it, our first fresh hop beer of 2021 is here.
SaBro That’s Fresh! Double IPA (7.8% ABV) is an even bigger version than last year’s. This double IPA is packed with fresh, wet Sabro and Amarillo hops, giving off big aromatics of tropical pineapple, mango and coconut that’ll have you saying SAHHHBROO THAT’S FRESH!

Single Hill Brewing – September 16th

Our first fresh hop can of the year is here! Ecstasy of Pink is a twist on our annual first fresh hop of the year, Ecstasy of Green, in collaboration with members of the Pink Boots Society. Brewed with ADHA 218 grown on Roy Farms and Wenas Hop Company Idaho Gem, Ecstasy of Pink features punchy cherry, pineapple, and strawberry flavors.

We had a blast working with these great brewers, and we’re so happy that Yakima Chief Hops brought them into town to see what Yakima is all about.

And did you know: Idaho Gem was developed at Gooding Farms, a woman led hop farm, and ADHA 218 was bred by Megan Twomey, a member of the Pink Boots Society, herself. They just seemed like the perfect hops for this kickoff to our Fresh Hop season.

Available in cans an on tap at our taproom and in the wild today!

Brewing Savage Co. – September 17th

FRESH HOP BEER RELEASE – STRATA FRESH HOP IPA – 6.4%Our first fresh hop this season is Strata. One of our favorite hops packed with tropical fruits. We used this fresh hop 3 ways into this IPA. Fresh hops went into our mash, kettle and then of course we dry hopped. Each adds beautiful harmony with fruity flavors and floral dankiness.

Dru Bru – September 16th

CENTENNIAL Fresh Hop IPA

Dru Bru partnered with @cornerstoneranches from Toppenish, WA to bring you a piece of the Pacific Northwest hop harvest. This IPA features freshly picked hops that went straight from the fields to the brewhouse, which gives an extra earthy, dank, and piney experience. ABV 6.0% – IBU Unknown

Available on tap at BOTH Taproom locations, and can be bought in cans to go starting today!

Varietal Beer Co – This week

Thrsd – We’re releasing a fresh hop hazy pale ale today featuring wet Ahtanum hops from Carpenter Ranches. SUNSHINE BECOMES BIRDS is a 5.6% hazy pale ale that shows off the grapefruit, lemon & grassy character of “YCR1” Ahtanum hops. Ends with a dry & mildly bitter finish from the intense amount of hops used.

Wed – We’re releasing WETWOLF [MOSAIC] today! This 5.4% hazy pale ale is infused with wet Mosaic hops from Wyckoff Farms, giving it a crazy melon & tropical fruit flavor. Available for a minute. WetWolf [Citra] is now available to-go in crowlers, until they are gone. Once they are gone, that’s it. Harvest must move on!

Bellevue Brewing – September 15th

Just tapped our 1st Fresh Hop beer of the season, Goofy Boots is now available! Goofy Boots is fresh, floral, and hopped with 300 lbs of Centennial hops and bittered with Bravo hops. It has hints of citrus fruit followed by a slightly bitter finish. 7% ABV, 56 BU
