Below, I share information about fresh hop beer releases and events. This is information gathered from my inbox and from social media. The dates included below represent the date on which the info was posted or received or, where specified, the date on which the beer releases. If I missed something, let me know.

I will add to this list as I learn more and will post another story like it next week. See last week’s post for more fresh hop releases.

Lucky Envelope Brewing

This Wednesday, September 22nd we’re unleashing both the Fresh Hop Centennial Pilsner and Fresh Hop Strata IPA in cans and on draft. Get a taste of the hop harvest glory with these fantastic beers featuring farm to kettle hops from Crosby Hop Farm. Reuben’s Brews

(Sept. 23rd) SHHH! Fresh Hop Puffs of [Classified] drops today at the Taproom. First released in early 2021, Puffs of [Classified] at the time featured a too-new-to-be-numbered hop from the 2020 harvest in the Yakima Valley. We have since been able to share the name of this special new hop: HBC-1019! We sponsor a tiny parcel of this early stage developmental hop, making this one of only a handful of beers to feature this [previously classified] hop.

This Fresh Hop Puffs bursts with fruit salad and limoncello flavors, with notes of pina colada and candied fruit too. HBC-1019 is a unique and innovative hop that shows off with potency and intense tropical fruit flavors, all amplified in this Fresh Hop variation. AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY ON TAP AT OUR TAPROOM FOR A LIMITED TIME – Try it before it is gone, and look for two more fresh hops arriving next week!

7 Seas Brewing

(Sept. 23rd) Yakima Valley Fresh Hop IPA – The ultimate Pacific Northwest beer is here! Freshly cut hop bines made it’s way from @lozafarms in Wapato, WA to our Tacoma brewery to be picked and brewed within 24 hours. This coveted IPA is fresh, floral and vibrant on the nose with hints of citrus fruits. Yakima Valley Fresh Hop IPA expresses a perfect blend of hop character that is both bold and nuanced. ABV: 6.2%. Local Fresh Hops: Amarillo, Simcoe and Centennial. Malts: NW Pale, Aromatic, Light Crystal. Availability: Extremely limited draft & 6-packs in both tap rooms and select local bottle shops & bars.

(Sept. 23rd) CHANGE OF PLANS: Citra Slicker cans will be releasing next Tuesday, 9/28. But it’s not all bad news – Citra Slicker and Piled High will still be releasing on draft at both taprooms this Friday. Fresh hop season is nothing if not unpredictable, right?

5 Rights Brewing

(Sept. 23rd) Happy Thirsty Thursday everybody!  It’s a beautiful sunny day here on 3rd Street and we’re trying to help you enjoy it before Fall takes firm hold. We’re also super excited to be releasing the second in our Embrace the Resin 2021 fresh hop series, a beautiful West Coast IPA featuring 25 lbs. per barrel of amazing Amarillo® hops grown by our friends @lozafarms in Wapato.  The Loza family grow some of the most amazing quality hops and we’re proud to be featuring them in our fresh hop beers again this year.  We are tapping this beer for Primary Care Patrons only today and it will be available for general public starting tomorrow.

(Sept. 22) Go ahead and give into the hype. Our second fresh hop of the ’21 harvest season was spun with our dear friends at @VarietalBeerCo. Laserdisc Craze is a modern West Coast IPA, golden hued with balancing bitterness, and bursting with 400 pounds of the freshest @carpenterhops Simcoe

Note – I’m not sure anyone is doing more fresh hop (wet hop) beers than Varietal Beer Co. Seriously, it’s hard to keep up. Follow them on Instagram to stay informed.

(Sept 23) Fresh Talus is crazy. Seriously, this stuff smells insane and it looks wild. There will be a beer in-house featuring Talus on tap tomorrow, but for today please enjoy FRESH TWINE [AHTANUM] featuring YCR1 Ahtanum hops for one of our favorite versions of wet-hop infused TWINE CLIMBER IPA, and WETWOLF [MOSAIC] featuring late-pick Mosaic from @carpenterhops in a rich & ripe pale ale.

Cloudburst Brewing

(September 22) The time has come to UNLEASH THE WETNESS. Our first of 11 wet hop beers brewed here (+3 more away) is a familiar one! Keep an eye on their Instagram.

Aqua Seafoam Shame (pictured at top of post) is brewed with 20#/bbl of wet @indiehops Strata grown at @goschiefarms down in Oregon. Gayle Goschie and her crew have been cranking out strata for a few years now, and this recipe won a GABF Bronze medal in 2019. All in all is all we are – no apologies here.

Best of Hands Barrelhouse

FRESH HOP SERIES: AMARILLO FRESH HOP IPA. Available Wednesday 9/22. 100% Amarillo hopped hazy IPA featuring wet Amarillo hops from @crosbyhops. Limited draft will be available as well as 16oz cans to-go!

FRESH HOP SERIES: STRATA IPA. Available Wednesday 9/22 Finally, we’ll have a 100% Strata hazy IPA.

A MANSION HAS MANY ROOMS (GREEN / FRESH HOP). Available Wednesday 9/22. The second in our low gravity ale series with @thebeerjunction features fresh STRATA hops in hot side, & is dry hopped with Riwaka.

Kulshan Brewing

(Sept. 23rd) Made with over 600 pounds of fresh Citra, this year’s Fresh Hop IPA is an exuberant and exciting beer. Golden straw in color, with a soft white head and mild haze, it is citrus and orchard fruit forward with subtle notes of pine, tropical fruits and herbal/grassy fresh hop notes. A tribute to this year’s hop harvest, we recommend drinking this unique beer immediately. Citra Fresh Hop is now on draft at all locations and available in cans at both Sunnyland and Roosevelt Taprooms. Hellbent Brewing

(Sept. 17th) – Fresh Hop Season is just getting started! Have you tried our Stratagem Fresh Hop IPA yet? Brewed with fresh Strata hops from the Willamette Valley and dry hopped with fresh Sabro hops from Yakima Valley. Our first Fresh Hop beer of the season definitely won’t disappoint!

(Sept. 21st) – The newest member of the Fresh Hop family! Fresh Hop Hazy IPA is a fresh hop beer brewed with fresh Yakima Valley Sabro Hops from Perrault Farms in Toppenish, WA added late in the brewing process. This beer is later wet hopped with fresh Citra hops, also from the Yakima Valley

Ok we are going all out this year on the freshness and we ab-so-freaking-lately can’t wait to share these with you. Wanted to give you a breakdown real quick so gather round and plop down real quick. Ok here we go:

• Sabro Hazy FH IPA- Draft only, pouring in the taproom starting ~9/12
• Simcoe Hazy FH IPA- Draft only, pouring in the taproom starting ~9/16
• Strata West Coast FH IPA-Cans only, 4-packs drop in the taproom ~9/21
• Amarillo West Coast FH IPA- Draft only, release the week of 9/20ish
• Mosaic Hazy IPA- Cans only, 4-packs drop in the taproom first week of October
• Sterling FH Lager – Draft only, release early October

(Sept. 22) Lando Hoprissian — a smooth-talking smuggler turned fresh hop IPA arrived and turned on the charm! Now available in cans and draft at the brewery.

Cowiche Creek Brewing

(Sept. 21) This Friday is our first Fresh Hop Ale Release of the season!

GROWN4U is packed full of Simcoe® hops, and bursting with flavor. You know we love hoppy beer around here, so when fresh hop season rolls around, we are beyond ecstatic to bring you the freshest, hoppiest ales we can brew.

(Sept. 22) Join us on September 23rd at @HeathenFeralPub and the brewery in Salmon Creek for the release of Fresh Hop of Couve-Air!

Backwoods Brewing

(Posted Sept. 20th) – Citra Fresh Hop Hazy IPA is on tap at both pubs! 250 lbs of fresh Citra hops went into this single hop hazy IPA. A lightly bitter beer with strong notes of melon and grapefruit!
