Because so many people love fresh hop beer so much, we decided to keep a running list of beers available in 2020. In most cases, we are simply sharing the information as we found it on social media, or as we received it via email. We leave you to your own devices to gather more info about the stuff that piques your interest. We’ll update the list as info comes in.

Sept. 10th – “Yakima Valley Fresh Hop IPA. Abv~ 6.2 — Fresh, floral and vibrant on the nose with hints of citrus fruits, Yakima Valley Fresh Hop IPA expresses a perfect blend of hop character that is both bold and nuanced. Hopped with Centennial and Simcoe. Available on draft and in cans for a limited time.”

“Acorn Brewing has already released (9/8/20) “I’m Not Dead Yet”, a fresh hopped pale, rife with Cascade and Willamette Hops, bringing a citrus and mint nose and flavor to this American Pale Ale. “Let’s Get Kraken” will be released 9/22, an American IPA that had been dry hopped with fresh from the bine Chinook Hops, bringing a nose of pine resin and citrus to a nicely balanced ale.”

Sept. 17 – “Fresh hop season has arrived! Brewed with help from our friends over at @growingveterans, our fresh hop IPA Charlie Foxtrot is back for year 3! For this years batch we harvested over a hundred pounds of hops— using a mixture of Cascade, Centennial, Crystal, and Columbus fresh hops for this particular batch. This beer will not last long, as fresh hops are best consumed, well… fresh.”

Sept. 15th – “Our first Fresh Hop IPA of the season, Homegrown Beer, is on our website for pre-order now! Grab it while you can, this puppy is going to go fast. ”
Sept. 22nd – “It’s a triple release whammy of a weekend! Starting with the release of Desert Bite IPA on Thursday at our 3-6pm curbside, you can say goodbye to summer and hello to cozy clothes, beers with higher ABVs, and ski season just around the corner. At Friday’s 3-6pm curbside, we’re continuing the release of our fresh hops with cult favorite Piled High Imperial Fresh Hop. This is VERY limited so we’re doing a 1 growler/person deal – first come first serve. And finally, wrapping up our stacked release weekend with the much anticipated Citra Slicker release on Saturday at the 12-5pm drive-thru. AS IF that wasn’t enough to entice you, this is our very last drive-thru of the season! Starting in October, our Saturday hours will be curbside pickup (it’s too cold to stand out there all day!). Sept. 18th – “Available today in cans and on draft! Our Fresh Hop beer for 2020 is brewed exclusively with with El Dorado hops which were picked and kiln dried at Roy Farms in Moxee, Washington. We started by adding some fresh hops to the whirlpool and then dry-hopped it with even more to squeeze every last bit of fresh goodness into the beer as we could. The finished product is richly juicy, allowing you to enjoy the full flavor profile of El Dorado with a lower overall bitterness. 6.0% ABV, 40 IBU. Fresh Hop is available in 4-packs of 16oz cans as well as on draft.”

Sept. 10th – “Our Centennial Fresh Hop IPA is now available on draft at both locations. We are extremely lucky to live so close to the hop capital of world. This beer was made with Centennial hops from @cornerstoneranches in Toppenish, WA. These hops were picked on the morning of the brew day which provides a very earthy, dank, and piney characteristic that is iconic to a fresh hop beer. Get it while it lasts!”

Sept. 18th – “Head Stash Fresh Hop IPA. Everybody’s Brewing will be releasing their Head Stash Fresh Hop IPA this Friday, September 18th, in 12oz cans and draft. This year’s Head Stash, ringing in at 6.6% ABV and 69 BUs, is packed with fresh Simcoe Hops from Loza Farms of Yakima, WA. Cans and draft will be available at various bottle shops and bars throughout Oregon and Washington, as well as their pub in White Salmon, WA. This year’s Simcoe hops add their classic combination of both flavor and bittering qualities to the beer. A big piney aroma is met with and resinous flavor and a medium body.”

Sept. 25th – Fri, Sat – October 9th & 10th – (4pm – 5pm) – This week’s featured Fn beers – Fresh Hops ! This year we brewed 2 different fresh hop beers – Fn 2020 English Fresh Hop 5.2% ABV – 50 IBU and Fn 2020 American Fresh Hop 6.1% ABV – 74 IBU. Both of these beers feature hops grown at the Fn Hop Farm and 4 other locations (all within 3 miles of the brewery). Harvested and added to the beer all on the same day. September 23 – Sound to Summit Brewing is releasing “Bine to Brew Fresh Hop IPA”, our annual fresh hop IPA release. This year we used Freshly picked Sabro hops from Loftus Ranches. This beer is tropical with just a hint of coconut, resinous, and beautifully aromatic. 7.3% ABV.

Wander released its 400 Cents Fresh Hop Pale Ale on September 3rd. Available in cans. On tap at the brewery. Brewed with 400 lbs of fresh Centennial hops.
