At a time when breweries were sprouting up around Washington at an alarming rate, occupying spaces in business parks and strip malls, Jim Jameson opened Foggy Noggin Brewing in Woodinville. Jim’s approach was a little bit different. He transformed a backyard shed into a brewery and turned his garage and driveway into a taproom. That was 11 years ago.
Foggy Noggin Brewing celebrates its 11th anniversary this weekend with the release of its Anniversary Ale and a virtual tasting event. Details below.

We won’t be having elephant races and hot air balloon rides this year, but we will be releasing our 2021 Anniversary Ale in 22 ounce bottles. You can also participate in a Mini Virtual Tasting of 3 different vintages of our Anniversary Ale (details below).
Saturday – Marth 13th (6pm – 6:40pm) – On-line virtual tasting of three (3) vintages of our Anniversary Ale (English old Ale). Only available for 20 people – $40/person. You get one 22 ounce bottle of 2021, 2020 and 2019 years of Foggy Noggin’s Anniversary Ale. Curbside pickup either Fri or Sat March 12th or 13th (4-5pm) then join the fun on a Zoom meeting (passcode will be sent to all) for a virtual tasting of all three beers. Fri, Sat – March 19th & 20th – (4pm – 5pm) – This week’s featured Fn beer – 2021 Anniversary Ale (English Old Ale) 6.8% ABV – 55 IBU. Each year for our Anniversary, we brew this classic English Old Ale, which is traditionally brewed for special occasions. Rich British malts are well complemented with the earthy hop tones from the UK Goldings hops. Perfect to drink now, or an excellent ale to cellar for a few years to pick up some wonderful aging characteristics. Available in 22 ounce bottles ($5 only this weekend only).
