First-ever Spokane Brewers Festival happens next weekend

The first-ever Spokane Brewers Festival takes place on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13. The location is Veterans Memorial Arena in downtown Spokane. This event should not be confused with the Inland NW Craft Beer Festival, which happens on September 23 and 24th at Avista Stadium.

More than 30 breweries will pour at the Spokane Brewers Festival, all of them from Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. At least 15 of the breweries are from Spokane itself. See the list of breweries below.

Admission is just $7.00 in the form of a tasting mug that you must purchase. Thereafter, taster tokens are $1.00 each, with a full pour costing five tokens.

According to the event website, “Spokane Brewers Festival is the ideal event for anyone who loves craft beer made right here in the Inland Northwest. With a laid-back attitude and a full complement of award-winning beers, the Festival reflects the craft essence of Spokane and the surrounding region with this mantra in mind: DRINK LOCAL. This is a prime opportunity to sample and learn about a variety of craft beer styles from the Inland Northwest.”
