Craft:Beer+Food is done. BitterSweet:Beer+Chocolate is next

Last night’s Craft:Beer+Food event was amazing. Don’t take our word for it. Here are links for posts about the event that we presented last night in Seattle.

If you missed it, do not despair.  We have a strong suspicion that there will be sequel. Stay tuned. (To see the photo gallery, visit the official event website).

Now that Craft:Beer+Food is in the books, we are ready to move on to our next event – BitterSweet:Beer+Chocolate. This non-profit event showcases beers from a number of our local breweries and the amazing chocolates of Seattle’s own Theo Chocolate.  Save the date: Thursday, November 10th. We will have more details in the coming days.

BitterSweet:Beer+Chocolate showcases the relationship between craft beer and artisan chocolate. Partnering with Theo Chocolate, this event features beer paired with chocolate as well as beer made with chocolate. Eight of the Seattle area’s brightest and most creative brewing stars are involved in BitterSweet. Not only will they provide beer from their regular lineups to pair with Theo Chocolate products, they will also create new beers for this event.

Theo’s chocolatiers and confectioners will create the pairings. Rest assured that the confections and other chocolates at this event will be amazing. For those that have never done it, go to Theo Chocolate in Fremont and taste the amazing array of products that Theo offers. You won’t find any Hershey’s Kisses, but you will quickly recognize how incredibly serious Theo is about producing amazing chocolates. Seriously, if you haven’t been to Theo, you should go. It is one of the best things in Seattle. Period!

Sparks flew when we introduced our team of brewers to their counterparts at Theo Chocolate. The energy in the room was amazing. They speak the same language and they share the same passion for their craft. Using chocolate from Theo, as well as byproducts from the chocolate-making process, our brewers plan to break new ground and introduce never-before-brewed beers to the world.

Save the date. This is going to blow your mind. We will be sure to share more information as the details come together.
