A change of plans, but still some great cider for you.
Once again we are using the word pivot to describe how a festival is responding to the current circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The folks who organize and operate Cider Summit Seattle recently made a hard decision about this year’s event, which was scheduled for September 10th and 11th. They’re forgoing the in-person event this year and offering a to-go/at-home tasting experience for local cider lovers.

After careful consideration based on feedback from vendors, staff, volunteers and concerned consumers we have decided to cancel this year’s live festival. However, we are excited to announce three new festival to-go tasting kits!
If you wish to pick up your kit in Seattle or for delivery in Washington State please place your order by 11:59pm on Wednesday, September 1. For shipment elsewhere in the U.S. please place your order by 11:59pm on Sunday, August 29 via our friends at Press Then Press.
Global Selections
Our Global Selections kit includes a range of six ciders from many of the world’s notable cider producing countries including France, England, Spain, Germany and far off places such as British Columbia & California. You’ll also receive two Cider Summit tasting goblets and small promotional items provided by participating cidermakers. The base price is $59.50 (plus taxes/fees) if picked up at our Seattle drive thru location. Delivery will be available in parts of Seattle for an additional $9.50. You may also select delivery throughout the State of Washington for an additional $19.50. Shipment is also available to 48 other states (sorry Utah!) via our friends at Press Then Press. Northwest Refreshers
Our NW Refreshers kit includes a unique assortment of eight refreshing ciders & seltzers. Have we jumped the shark? Please note: our capacity for local delivery is very limited. The area is bordered by NE 175th Street to the north; Elliot Bay to the west; the West Seattle Bridge to the south and Lake Washington to the east. If your delivery location is outside that area please select “Greater WA Delivery” when ordering. We strongly recommend ordering as soon as possible.
Optional Cooler Bag
During checkout you can add our Cider Summit Cooler Bag (pictured below) for $10.00 (plus taxes/fees). This is soft-sided, insulated large enough to hold six 19.2 ounce cans. It also has a storage pocket for extra convenience.
Tasting Notes & Guided Tasting
Starting September 7 our event guide will be available for download on this page. This will include tasting notes for every selection. Many of the cidermakers will also be producing short videos to guide you through the product tasting. These will be available via the Cidercraft YouTube channel.
