Chuckanut Brewery and Cloudburst Brewing are good brewing friends with lots of respect for each other’s expertise in the brewing field. ‘Nut Burst’ is a collaboration lager made at Chuckanut Brewery that’s got a creamy white head and tropical fruit notes with an ABV of 6%. This delicious hoppy southern hemisphere lager will be tapped at both Chuckanut facilities (Bellingham and Skagit Valley) and Cloudburst in Seattle on Mother’s Day May 14.

Nut Burst uses hops from New Zealand and Australia including Galaxy, Kohatu, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Rakau. A marriage of Chuckanut’s clean, crisp lager with Cloudburst hop expertise culminates in ‘Nut Burst’, a very drinkable down under hoppy lager with fragrant grapefruit and guava aromas and flavors. Perfect with sweet and spicy foods this beer is offered in very limited supplies throughout the Puget Sound region.
