Cairn Brewing introducing a new, exploratory line of IPAs

Cairn Brewing is launching a new line of new IPAs. The HopTraverse line of beers are described as exploratory IPAs intended to showcase the wide variety of flavors that different hop varieties add to beer. On August 4th the company introduces the first beer in the series, this one brewed with Centennial and Simcoe hops (80 IBUs, 7.5 percent ABV).

“The first HopTraverse release features only whirlpool and hopback additions to bring the combination of grapefruit and pine flavors front and center while still providing a strong bitterness,” explains Bill Boyd, co-owner and brewer at Cairn Brewing.
