Big week of beer releases for Reuben’s Brews

It’s like two super-popular beers in one: Crikey Crush. Crikey IPA, the year-round IPA from Reuben’s Brews, has become a favorite of local beer lovers, often makes its way on to local “best of” lists, and has earned a number of medals and awards. The Crush Series of IPAs has also proven wildly popular. On February 1st the brewery introduces one beer that is both Crikey and Crush. Then, on February 3rd, Reuben’s Brews releases Blimey That’s Bitter and Triple Crush. And there’s more. Read on.

The Crush Series is basically one beer with a rotating hop profile. It’s a New England style IPA with each iteration of the beer featuring a different hop bill. The Crush beers are brewed with a portion of oats and wheat, along with lots of aromatic hops, dry-hop additions, and all the stuff particular to this style of IPA.

“Imagine Crikey and Crush had a beautiful lovechild. Crikey Crush is a hazy IPA dry hopped with tons of Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo. Taste it for yourself on tap in our tasting room or to-go in crowlers.”

“And if that wasn’t enough hoppy goodness, we will have Triumvirate cans back in the taproom! A 16oz / 4-pack of our GABF gold medal-winning Triumvirate would look so good in your fridge!”

But that’s not all. Blimey That’s Bitter and Triple Crush release on February 3rd.

“It’s a double release of triple IPAs! On Saturday, Feb. 3, we’re bringing back Blimey That’s Bitter and Triple Crush!”

“Wine Enthusiast recently named Blimey one of the Top 10 Beers of 2017. It will return to the taproom on tap and in 22-oz bottles. Triple Crush, the high-octane member of our popular hazy IPA family, will be available on tap and in crowlers.”

“In 2014, Adam decided to respond to Pliny the Younger being pulled from distribution in Washington by brewing a Triple IPA of our own and starting the Hop Mob with industry friends. This year, more than 30 WA breweries will participate in 4th Annual Hop Mob events around the state. Check out the full schedule at http://www.wahopmob.com/.
