The Beveridge Place Pub has some great stuff lined up for Seattle Beer Week (May 4 thru 14). As usual, the Bev kicks things off with Seattle Cask-O-Rama, a celebration of Seattle-brewed, cask-conditioned ales. Other events include an Iron Brewer Triple Header, a night dedicated entirely to Washington-brewed beer, a day dedicated to big, bodacious beers, and more.
Cask-O-Rama is one of my favorite events of the year, Beer Week or not. It’s nice that at least one event during Seattle Beer Week is entirely dedicated to Seattle beer. In many cases, Seattle Beer Week just provides out-of-state breweries with an opportunity to swoop into the city and promote their beers to Seattle beer lovers. That’s fine, but like I said, it’s nice that at least one Seattle Beer Week event is actually a celebration of Seattle beer.
