Beer Release – a collab from Watts Brewing and Good Brewing

Watts Brewing just introduced Bee Good, a new IPA brewed in collaboration with Good Brewing.

I’m excited to announce we have a new IPA!  “Bee Good” is a collaboration with Kevin King from Good Brewing in Woodinville.  Kevin and I have been friends for years, drinking each others beer at beerfests and comparing notes on our favorite hops.  This spring we decided to brew a beer together!

Bee Good IPA is a wheat IPA featuring Azacca hops from the Yakima valley.  Azacca is a newer variety and contributes the bright citrus and tropical character we all love, so we paired it with Mosaic and Columbus to bring more depth to the hop character.  The aforementioned wheat peaks through all the hops to add a pleasant bready layer to the finish.

You can find Bee Good at all Good Brewing locations including their brewpubHollywood taproom, and Ales and Tails (their new dog park which also serves Xylocopa and Blackjacket)!  You can also find this IPA on tap at bars and restaurants across the Watts distribution footprint

We’re tapping the first of our share of the kegs at Crucible Brewing in Everett for our brewers night on Wednesday.  It’s a testament to the cooperation and comradery of our local brewing community that two “competitors” can brew a beer together and serve it at a third.  We’re thankful for that community and for the friendships that built this beer.  Come join us on Wednesday at Crucible’s Everett foundry from 5 to 8 pm to taste Bee Good IPA along with The LeafcutterRed Mason Rye, and Blackjacket.
