Beer Prom happens this Friday, July 26th at The Majestic Ballroom in Bellingham. At its core, Beer Prom is a beer festival, but it is also more. There’s a theme. Last year it was Back to the Future, featuring lots of 80s throwback stuff. This year the theme is Enchantment Under the Sea, another nod to Back to the Future. So, more 80s throwback stuff.
The event is organized by Kulshan Brewing as a benefit for Lydia Place, a nonprofit, community-based agency serving homeless families. Six of Bellingham’s breweries teamed up with their dates (other breweries) to create some unique collaboration beers. See the list below.

Dress up in your best 80s costume and go drink some beer. Here are the details.
BEER PROM 2019
Six Bellingham breweries have asked other breweries to be their “dates” to our 80s themed Beer Prom. Together, they’re brewing 80s inspired collaboration beers and we’re serving them all at Beer Prom! All proceeds will be supporting Lydia Place, a non-profit helping disrupt the cycle of homelessness in Bellingham and promoting sustained independence for current and future generations.
This year’s theme is Back to the Future’s Enchantment Under The Sea. Wear your favorite 80s…er 50s fashion and drink one of a kind collaboration beers! Your future prom night includes a 80’s costume contest, a Royal Beer Court, unforgettable dance moves, a photo booth, raffle prizes, food trucks, and live music by Blindfate.
