Events. Remember events? Since the pandemic hit, we have all missed beer-related events, so the opportunity to tell you about one is irresistible. Bothell’s Watts Brewing and The Collective in downtown Seattle present a beer-pairing dinner on Thursday, November 12th.
The Collective is described as a restaurant, bar, and social club with a beautiful and spacious location in the heart of the city’s South Lake Union neighborhood. The four-course beer pairing dinner featuring some of Watts Brewing’s best-loved beers and “a little something special.”
Here is the meal description, from the organizers.
“We’re starting things off light with scallops and The Leafcutter, before ramping up to apple and hop honey poached pig’s trotters paired with Red Mason Rye. As if that wasn’t already a solid meal, the third course is beef short rib and garlic spoonbread with a new beer we’re getting ready to release called Stingo. The full announcement for this beer won’t go out until next week, so you’ll have to wait for all the details, but for now suffice it to say we’re excited to get this wood aged strong ale into your glass.”

“If you still have room, after all that, there’s one more course of chilled butternut bisque and flourless chocolate biscuit served with a pour of Solitary Series: Winter 2019. That’s right we have a rare re-emergence of last winter’s decadent Baltic porter.”
“I don’t have enough space here to do this meal justice, if you want to see the full menu (including the sides omitted here) check out the event page. You’ll want to reserve a spot as seating is limited. Available times are staggered between 5 and 7:30 pm, and seats are $45 per person.”
