Airways Brewing – Anniversary Party, Aluminum Cans, and More

It seems like only yesterday that Airways Brewing (blog sponsor) took off for the first time. From diminutive roots, the Kent-based brewery has grown into one of the area’s more popular breweries. Today we are announcing the brewery’s plans to celebrate its anniversary. And that’s not all.

Airways Brewing celebrates its third anniversary with a celebration at the brewery in Kent on Saturday, March 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The party will serve as the official release of the company’s beers in 16-ounce aluminum cans. Also, a very special, limited-release beer will be available at the party as well.

The Party

The 3rd Anniversary Party takes place at the Airways Brewery, which is located at 6644 S. 196th Street, Kent, WA (map). Along with great beer from Airways Brewing, Lumpia World will be onsite serving up it’s popular street food. The Airways crew will also be raffling off brewery swag. This will be your first opportunity to get Airways Brewing beers in 16-ounce aluminum cans. It will be, perhaps, your only chance to get the official anniversary beer.

The Beers

The aluminum cans will contain two all-new beers from Airways Brewing: Oatmeal PSA (Pale Session Ale) and Pre-Flight Pilsner. The cans will be released at the party, but will soon-there-after be available in 4-packs at bottleshops and better beer retails around the Seattle Tacoma area. The Anniversary Beer is a Belgian Dark Strong Ale, which will be available in 22-ounce bottles – it weighs in at a delicious 9.9 percent ABV.
